The description of Thermal Stable Polycrystalline Diamond (TSP):
TSP is thermally stable polycrystalline diamond product, which is manufactured by the same ultra-high pressure and high temperature techniques associated with other PCD products. Its binder is chemically insert and has a similar coefficient of thermal expansion to that of diamond. It is thermally stable up to 1200 degree Celsius. It is suitable for oil drilling bits and mining bits.
The feature and advantage of Thermal Stable Polycrystalline Diamond (TSP):
One significant advantage of TSP diamond is its high thermal stability. Our TSP products can withstand high temperatures of ~1200 degrees centigrade in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. Moreover, the relative wear resistance of the TSP diamond body remains the same under high temperature conditions.
Application of Thermal Stable Polycrystalline Diamond (TSP):
Thermally Stable Polycrystalline (TSP) diamond can be manufactured into a variety of sizes and shapes (Cubes, Cylinders, Discs, Rectangles, Triangles, Spheres etc.) that can be inserted into cutting tools, drilling bits, reamers, wire drawing dies, and other wear-resistant components.
